Alicia Aide, CCR
Client Care Representative, Pet Food Advocate
I’ve always loved animals and knew I wanted to work in this industry. I completed my Veterinary Assistant course at St. Lawrence College in 2004. I joined Hillcrest Animal Hospital in the fall of 2004.From 2004 to 2008 I was working in reception, laboratory and assisting in surgery. In 2008 I was interested in the Nutrition Center that was being created and started working away on my nutrition courses and have completed: Purina Daily Nutrition Matters, Hill’s Veterinary Advocate & Royal Canin Veterinary Exclusive Counselor Programs. I have also toured the facilities & plants for Royal Canin & Hill's (and am hoping to explore Purina's in the future as well). I am now a Certified Pet Food Advocate. If you have a question about pet food, look for me at the Nutrition Center. What I love most about my job is interacting with people, helping their pets and our lovely clinic cat; Clinck while enjoying his company. My favourite thing about the clinic is Clinck and our devoted team.My common-law partner Sean & I have recently become parents of an adventurous outgoing boy; Delmer. We have four cats (Mitts, Scotty, Knight, Oden) & one dog (Domino). In which I have been told I’m “cut off” from getting any more cats. I had quite a few animals growing up. The dog that I cherish the most was George. He was a rescue Pit Bull cross and was my protector.
