The Belleville Bulls, Hillcrest Animal Hospital and Hill’s Pet Nutrition have organized “Pucks 4 Paws”, a fund-raising event for the Quinte Humane Society on the evening of November 28th.
Please come support our beloved OHL franchise team as they whup the Niagara Ice Dogs that evening and help us to raise a pile of money for the Quinte Humane Society Building Fund. The Humane Society badly needs a new, larger facility to deal with the growing problem of homeless animals in the area of Quinte West. Let’s all do our bit to help this become a reality.
Partnering with the Bulls we will have a number of fund-raising efforts at the game. These will include; “chuck-a-puck”, Hill’s “dog food bag curling”, silent auction tables and jersey auctions. Throughout the game Lisa-Marie Guernon (Muzzles and Snouts) and a rather large and friendly dog will be walking around with a cart soliciting donations via the “cute factor”.
Belleville Bulls players are doing their part by visiting the shelter and “sponsoring” some of the animals. They have had their pictures taken with the animal and have autographed them. Whoever adopts them will receive a signed photo of their new pet with a Bulls player!
Please, please come out and support this wonderful local charity. Advance ticket sales will be available at the Humane Society and Hillcrest Animal Hospital in Trenton. These tickets will be normal price for a seat ($13.50) but the Humane Society will receive a substantial donation from each sale.
This is your opportunity to support these wonderful people and all of the unfortunate animals that they take care of every day. Help us to help them improve the lives of as many animals as possible by providing them with a better, healthier place to stay until they are adopted out to their “forever homes”.
