Successful Open House

I would like to personally thank everyone who helped with our Open House last weekend. My wonderful staff for turning out and doing what you do every day… an amazing job. Darlene Quincy and the Fixed Fur Life volunteers who ran a barbeque for fund-raising and who always work so hard on behalf of the animals in Quinte West. The folks who donated items for our silent auction and the staff members and community members (that’s you Barb!) who donated baked goods for our bake sale.

I would also like to thank the Belleville Bulls who sent Bully, David (Tomacek) and Mo (Colella) out as well as some staff members to the event.

We enjoy every opportunity to show off our hospital and educate people about animal care and medicine. We hope that everyone had a good day helping to raise money for an excellent local charity.

Please remember that the Belleville Bulls home game on November 15th against the Guelph Storm will be our annual Pucks 4 Pawz event where we will again be raising money for Fixed Fur Life. Consider coming out and supporting a great cause and watching the very best hockey our system has to offer.
