Dr. Arin Por, DVM

Veterinarian
I’ve always had a love for helping people and animals and a great interest in the sciences, so naturally, my dream job had to involve all 3! I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2016 with Honours.
I was thrilled to join Hillcrest Animal Hospital in June of 2016. The work environment was so welcoming and inclusive that I felt immediately comfortable. It is definitely the Hillcrest Team that made this clinic an absolute stand out to me.
An area of the veterinary industry that interests me is soft tissue surgery, pain management, preventative medicine, internal medicine, shelter medicine and community outreach.
What I love most about my job is having the opportunity to educate clients and empower them so that they can make informed decisions about their pet’s healthcare – not just for the present, but also for the future! My favourite thing about the clinic is definitely my colleagues. They’re hard-working, dedicated people who also know how to keep the work environment fun and positive!
Fun fact about me is that I adopted a rabbit named Rolo from the Guelph Humane Society on Friday, April 13, 2012. My first pet was Tracy, a regular hamster.
