Pucks 4 Pawz 2014

November 15th is “The Day”!

bulls-smallWe are very proud to once again organize “Pucks 4 Pawz” with our amazing partners The Belleville Bulls! This time around “Pucks 4 Pawz” will benefit a wonderful local organization called Fixed Fur Life. These folks help people in the Quinte West area on limited incomes deal with veterinary bills associated with spaying and neutering their pets as well as helping with the neutering of stray animals. This is an amazing local charity run by some caring, compassionate volunteers who have helped a HUGE amount of people in our area. Please visit their website and see for yourself!

This season the Bulls have a very competitive team, making for some exciting games. They are currently in a battle with the Oshawa Generals for first in the OHL East and have once again cracked the top ten in the Canadian Hockey League. One of the major contributors to this performance is Charlie Graham who has repeatedly been ranked #1 goaltender in the OHL. Other exciting players include Remi Elie, Jordan Subban, Steven Harper and some ridiculously talented 16- and 17-year olds.

We will have Belleville Bulls dog tags “for sale” with a $5.00 donation to Fixed Fur Life. We will also have a number of other fund-raising efforts at the game. These will include; “Chuck-a-Puck”, a “Pooper-Scoop” race for some “lucky” kids, a silent auction table run by Fixed Fur Life and a jersey raffle (a game-worn, signed Charlie Graham jersey!). There will also be signed pictures of Bulls players with some Fixed Fur Life “alumni” animals which will be up for (silent) auction.

So make sure to bring lots of extra money to contribute to Fixed Fur Life! Last year’s Pucks4Pawz event was a roaring success as we managed to raise over $4,000 for the Quinte Humane Society! Let’s try to do even better this year for Fixed Fur Life!

Please make the effort to come out and support our local OHL team and raise some money for the animals of the Quinte Region. We are looking forward to seeing you there and helping to raise money for Fixed Fur Life.
